Peace. Be. Still.

The Moon has joined the Sun in the Fixed Earth of Taurus, kicking off another 29-day journey of self-discovery, and I’m hearing –
Peace. Be. Still.
Taurus is the call back to the Root, back to the Ground, and back to that which is Unshakable within us. Taurus is the part of you that houses your most primal and ancient wisdom – the wisdom of the Body and the wisdom, which really is the wisdom of Mother Earth Herself.
New Moons in the sign of Taurus ask us to soulfully step into our power by embodying our self-worth in ways that bring us lasting peace and sacred pleasure. Taurus New Moons seek to heal the part of us that was not taught that everything about us – our bodies, our minds, our dreams, and our talent- is WORTHY.
All New Moons signify new beginnings, but because this month’s New Moon is also a Solar Eclipse there is a super-charged call to approach this new beginning with a reverential stillness that allows you to perceive, by direct experience, what may be emerging out of the shadows for you.
Solar eclipses occur when the light of the Sun is literally obscured by the shadow of the Moon, and so this next Lunar month urges us to explore, and be open to, healing wounds from our past that have perhaps kept us “stuck” or “fixed” to a pattern of responding and/or perceiving that we have outgrown. This is especially true since Pluto, the planet of our “Underworld” and depth experience has recently stationed retrograde, calling us even deeper into the fertile soil of a past that needs healing and a soul that needs feeding.
With this eclipse’s conjunction to both the planet Uranus and the asteroid Eros, the ground beneath our feet is shaking with the tremors of a quake that promises to AWAKEN us in the areas of our lives that are most touched by Taurus energy. Eros is known as the god of love, lust, and passion, and Uranus represents our Sacred Rebel within, so you may find that this month’s unfolding heralds a time of liberation from those things that you have been unduly bound to, and an increased focus and attraction to that which you truly Love.
This message is amplified because Venus (the goddess of Love and the ruler of Taurus) is in the transcendent waters of Pisces (the sign of He/r exaltation) and is sitting in conjunction to Jupiter – the planet of expansion, growth, faith and wisdom. Together, these two planets bring us messages of Hope, of dreams fulfilled, and of real peace… if we can embrace the stillness that keeps us grounded and aware of our unshakable connection to our Goddess/God/Source within.
Be open to the inevitable endings and the inevitable beginnings of this time. Be open to the mystery. Pay attention to your dreams and the soulful whisperings in your inner ear. Be gentle with yourself.
Yes you can, and yes you will 🌸.
Blessed New Moon 💗♉️.
